Elevate Your Skills with College-Level Training

Warrior Athletics is dedicated to the personal development of student-athletes in all areas of their lives using sports to promote the values of education, strong character, discipline, work ethic, and the ability to be a part of something greater.

While academics remain the main focus, participation in our athletic program provides a unique opportunity for ambitious and accomplished student-athletes to practice with college athletes and to be instructed by the same renowned coaches at Westcliff University.

Armed with collegiate and professional experience in their fields, Westcliff coaches offer an invaluable experience to young athletes, helping them hone their skills at an accelerated rate. This is an ideal environment for any young athlete who wants to be recruited by college teams or play professionally.

The Best Warriors Are Trained By Our Elite Coaches

In our pursuit to offer Westcliff Prep students the highest quality athletic program, our high school coaches have collegiate and professional experience in their respective sports. RECENT UNIVERSITY WARRIOR VICTORIES:

Warrior Athletics is led by Shawn Harris, Westcliff University’s Dean of Athletics, who brings years of professional experience as a WNBA agent. Under his proven leadership, our University teams had record-breaking seasons as highlighted below. Our high school athletes will likewise be challenged to become their best in their chosen sport.

Defeated #17 nationally NAIA ranked Northwestern (Iowa). Competed against 5 NCAA DI teams and recruited very heavily in the off season to provide a ‘20-’21 team with top talent.

In the ‘19-’20 school year, they competed against 5 NCAA DI teams. Coaches recruited to add more strength and depth to be a top contender.

Had a tremendous first season. Knocked off and competed tough against major opponents including a 2-1 OT win against The Master’s University. For the ‘20-’21 season, the coaching staff was able to recruit a team with a depth of over 65 players! MSOC comes into the 2021 season with a great back line with a lot of offensive weapons to play around with.

Made a huge impact with a first year record of 9-1-1. This team had the winningest record in WU 19-20 school year. With key returners and some amazing new talent, they seek to be number one in the Cal Pac.

First team to compete in a Cal Pac schedule, and were able to go toe to toe with the defending national champs Bendictine-Mesa. MVB also had the first of our conference honors with three players receiving 2nd team all Cal Pac and an honorary mention for a first year member. They also earned two athletes named Cal Pac Attacker of the Week, two athletes named Cal Pac Setter of the Week, and one athlete named Cal Pac Defender of the Week.

Had a winning record of 15-9 with only 3 home games! Earning a 6-1 record against Cal Pac teams in the ‘19-’20 season, WVB team looks to be a top contender in the conference this season.

Beach VB blew everyone out of the water last season even though their season was cut short because of COVID-19. They still were able to make an impression on the competition. They were undefeated against all conference opponents. They also had their No. 1 pair defeating both the defending national champions and the runner up No. 2 pairs from OUAZ and Vanguard.

Ended their season (cut short by COVID) with a 19-8 record, but made an immediate impact in the sport defeating key opponents such as NCAA DII Concordia and NCAA DIII Chapman.
